apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

We live in a very small apartment. Yet we recently realized that we're surrounded by clocks: small travel alarm clocks by our bed, in the bathroom, in the kitchen -- and of course the clocks on the screens of our iBook, cordless phone, and cell phone.

Not long ago we had to replace the battery in the bathroom clock, and the clock stayed on our desk. It took us a while to realize that things don't run as smoothly in the mornings, we can't seem to get places on time, and it's all because the clock isn't in the bathroom. And so back it goes.
