Best Chalkboards

6-17-ChalkBoard.jpgWe've spoken several times of our love of the chalkboard wall, but know that not everyone has the option of breaking out the chalkboard paint and brushes. That doesn't mean, of course, that you have to go chalk art-less, just go the old fashioned route with a chalkboard that hangs on (or sticks to) the wall. Below the jump you'll find our roundup of our favorite chalkboards on the market right now.

I have the Wall Candy Arts boards/stickers in my kitchen and I absolutely love them. It serves as a grocery/shopping list as well as a To Do list.

Cheers!

I used a RIBBA shadow box from IKEA and painted the smooth part of the board with chalkboard paint.

I used the unsanded grout in paint trick to add a chalkboard to match the accent wall of my dining room. it takes up a large portion of the last wall i see on my out the door, so it's good for daily reminders as well as inspiration or just brainstorming.

There are some good chalkboard deals on ebay. I had looked at all the PB ones and other places, but the price pushed me over to ebay. Snagged a 48" x 24" framed one for $60 shipped - way cheaper than most of the above...

We went 4 of these from Pottery Barn. All 4 tight up against each other to make a big rectangle.

Originally we wanted a big slate chalkboard, but the prices and shipping on eBay killed that idea.
