I love the Kotree coat rack:

it even has a little shelf to put keys, sunglasses, whatever. And it comes in some great colors.

I think I still prefer plain, simple shaker peg rack, painted to blend in with the wall and become invisible.

Where's the link for the coat rack pictured? Did I miss it?

The one pictured is the Stretto. I saw one at the DWR warehouse sale but it's hard to justify that price.

you know, it would be relatively easy to acheive a similar effect to the Stretto for much cheaper via DIY. it wouldn't necessarily look just like that, but it would be the same idea. just get the ultra-modern brushed stainless steel wall hooks. i'm thinking of the Umbra Cosi collection at container store, bed bath beyond, etc, but there are quite a few similarly affordable options out there. install vertically down the wall as shown. hang one of the very minimalist Ikea full length mirrors next to your hooks. et voila! minimalist built-in landing strip for way less than $350. you could even go one better and add wall-hung key and mail storage, perhaps a small shelf, shoe storage, etc. and you'd still be well under the price of the Stretto.

Totally agree with you opoponax! Also love the fact that with the Stretto the coats hang relatively flat against the wall vs. the space a traditional coat tree takes up.
