Top 10: Easy Feng Shui Tips for Kids' Bedrooms

9-19-top.jpgFollowing up our Top 10: Easy Feng Shui Tips for the Bathroom and Top 10: Easy Feng Shui Tips for the Kitchen...well, it's Kids' Design Month, so here are our feng shui tips for kids' bedrooms:

• Try to keep the room tidy and clutter-free
• The headboard of the bed should be against a solid wall

 
 

• Don't push the bed up against a wall; there should be room to walk around both sides of the bed
• The desk should not be in front of a window
• When sitting at a desk, a kid's back should not be toward the door
• The bed shouldn't be placed so that the sleeper's feet face a doorway
• Mirrors make it hard for kids to sleep
• Sorry, parents, but bunk beds are bad feng shui

Actually, for the bed placement, I think it's: The foot of the bed shouldn't be pointed out the door.
