Top 10: Stylish Ways to Camp Out (or Pretend You're Camping Even if You're at Home)

A friend was recently bemoaning the fact that she hasn't been camping in ages. Since a trip to the woods isn't in the near future, she suggested we roast marshmallows and make s'mores in her backyard.

It then got us thinking about stylish (price-is-no-object) ways to camp out -- or pretend you're camping even if you're at home. What can you add to the list?

The Campout Plates from nunostudio ($15 each) (shown above)

OKSLEEPBAG Sleeping Bag from Orla Kiely (29,99, or approximately $54)

Cot from Hable Construction ($195)

Camp Stool from Hable Construction ($95)

Road-Ready Tinware, 3-Piece Set from Sundance ($18)

And of course there's always the. . .

i think that's the least expensive thing Orla sells - I might have to have one! Maybe I can rip it apart and sew some pillows! :)

Sorry for being overly serious here, but I think (a la modernism?) there's a certain joy in the sheer effectiveness of camping equiptment. I think that a qualifier for being "stylish" in the woods should be being warm, or being very light, or serving more than one use. I love the refurbished bambi as much as the next guy, but I don't care how cool I look if I'm freezing.
Or another angle- isn't going camping one of the only times that we aren't judged (nor do we judge others) based on what they have or what they are wearing? I know that the REI's of the world are trying to change that, but I will remain idealistic.
