I love door mats. Unfortunately, my cat is terrified of them and I love her too much to make her freak out every time she comes inside :(

Any thoughts on half-circle outside doormats? My front stoop is a semicircle shape... seems hard to find saucy looking mats for it.

I have one of the coir "block" doormats. It faded very quickly and it's not in direct sunlight. It was so sassy when I got it but now it's a little sad. I've had it about 9 months. How long should a doormat's life be?

I like the look of Pier One's rubber "Links" doormat, but it doesn't look like you could really wipe your feet on it.

I usually just buy something cheapola with a plain design that gets replaced every year or so. Although I will say that IKEA's bottom-of-the-line BARRIT doormat starting really curling up at the edges after about a month. I tossed it after a couple months because it got so ratty looking.

The chilwich mats come in great bold colors as well and really last. The coir mats lose their color and design so fast.
