The free-standing doorless shower is available with a transparent, translucent, or white acrylic screen and a shower tray made of Exmar (a composite material of resin and quartz powder). It also comes with left- or right-handed access.

Designed by Benedini Associati and manufactured by Agape, Moss sells it for $12,470 (tap or shower head not included).

Any information out there on how clear acrylic like this holds up to soaps, hard water, etc? I would think that this would be very, very hard to keep clean (and it would look awful if it was anything else). Guess you'd have to squeegee it horizontally, or hit it with a rinsing agent all the time. I've tried those "shower clean" rinse spays for showers and I find that they don't work.

I have a Waterworks acrylic tub that -- even though I love it -- needs to be thoroughly scrubbed after each use. It seems as if the acrylic finish "grabs" soap scum.
