Barbara Hulanicki Wallpaper for Graham & Brown

10-8-08barbwallmain.jpgWe're big fans of Barbara Hulanicki... and also Graham & Brown. We got very excited when the designer hooked up with the wallpaper company to create designs. They're funky, but opulent. Our kind of look!

Loving the last design. Has a 70's retro feel to it, but with a modern twist.

"70's retro feel"... by way of the turn of the 20th Century! Those are Art Nouveau motifs, given a modern spin. Yes, the foil does recall 70's wallpaper. An interesting mix of eras. Love the subtle, desaturated field colors.

Oh, lordy, I love these. Ditto for the reasons nashdp lists, and especially for the subtle color palettes. I often find wallpaper designs to be too much due to the one-two punch of intense color and busy pattern.
Me want these.

Any ideas on the source of the black lamp? It floored me.
