Yep, I still don't care for faux bois. Ah well; I'll just sit this trend out and let those who like it use it (hopefully) as well as Benjamin has.

BD gave me the source of the wallpaper. It's by Nobilis. it's called woods and marbles. They only sell to the trade, but they have wallpapers with faux concrete, aggregate, travertine, various marbles, and various woods. They even have birds eye maple. These textures are very realistic. Some of them remind me of photo-realistic textures that are used in 3-D programs to map onto objects. You can see some here:
