Woolly DIY Projects for Fall
Better Homes and Gardens

Wool is the epitome of fall fabrics; we love the idea of using wool accents in creative ways to add cozy texture and earthy color to any room. Better Homes and Gardens suggests some fun DIY options for putting wool scraps to use around the house this season, perfect for those who make their own clothes and might have some leftovers...

Use extra wool yardage to add some temporary autumnal trim to a drapery; create a display from wool strips wound into balls of colorful "yarn"; add pattern to the back of a cabinet or bookshelf with a stapled wool lining. Adorn your throw pillows with stripes of wool in plaids and other patterns to create a cozy, layered feeling. Or use a wool blanket as a bedskirt, tying off the excess at the corners with ribbon.

If you don't have extra wool scraps lying around, try thrift stores and Goodwill for lightweight wool blankets, pillows, and even clothing that can be cut up and used for home accents. For more ideas, check out the full story at Better Homes and Gardens.

and I'm trying to source bookshelves like that, with sliding doors, rather than build my own or have custom built. Any resource ideas with reasonable prices? (for reference, Pottery Barn's prices seemed a bit steep because I'd need multiples)
