Man, this is the kind of view that makes working from home on a gray, rainy Seattle day (opposite of the one we had today!) seem almost romantic. Moreover, if only our office needs were so streamlined: a chair, a rug, an ottoman and a computer.

On second thought, we might find ourselves too distracted in the face of such a panorama. Or maybe we're just jealous.
Great in the summer. Great for staying in bed all day. Not the best for work. Having had a fabulous view before, I learned that sadly sometimes it is better not see how dreary it is all day. The romance is fleeting. I guess it is time for a little SAD light therapy - though today was lovely.

I love that chair! Does anyone know what it is?

I dunno. My back hurts just looking at that set-up!

All I can say is "Wow", what a view that would be.
You would never do work that way, ergonomically impossible. Have a nice minimalist desk, a desk top PC with a large wide screen monitor and we are talking a dream office.
As a bedroom it would be divine. Getting out of bed would be difficult :)

*sigh* with a view like that, I wouldn't call a day dreary, just a different painting evoking different moods. nice.

well, be honest, AT. this is not an "office" - not even a home office - it is a reading chair with a laptop.
as a reading place that must be heaven.

I used to have almost the same view - it's also lovely at night when the city is lit up.
Ah, my moody city...
The bleak, Pacific Northwest light is fine for working - if you're used to it (although that view is facing south, so you can get that room heats up when the sun comes out). The only thing missing from that picture is the obligatory bottle of vitamin D that most of us Seattleites have to take during the winter to keep the blues away!
