A year ago, my boyfriend and I moved in together. Our Austin home is an eclectic mix of my home goods textile samples and a manly collection of mismatched vintage finds. We've both put off redoing our bedroom with our busy schedules and ready to take on this challenge alongside Apartment Therapy We'll first start with building storage in the closet to organize our belongings to create mental clarity and add mandatory furniture pieces such as a headboard! Jason will be building recycled furniture pieces and I'll be in charge of the color palette and decor.
Both Jason and I filled out the survey below to highlight our individual personalities as a starting point for our initial interior design plan. We're aiming to create a natural space with mid century and global accents to represent our unique styles in one space.
A bedroom needs to be inspiring in the morning and peaceful at night and we're so ready to highlight these elements in our own tranquil bedroom after the transition of combining our homes.
