We spotted this image in the March/April 2008 issue of Australian decor mag Inside Out (which coincidently also has a feature and shows more images of Todd Oldham's home, which we posted about earlier this week.) We are intrigued with this concept of using a very sheer piece of fabric on a four poster bed....
The fabric they've chosen still gives a slight romantic feeling that traditional drape-y fabrics would have, yet via a totally modern/minimal interpretation. Has anyone done something like this or would consider doing something like this? The fabric shown is by "Devil Damask" by Timorous Beasties. (image via Inside Out magazine)

I like it! It gives an air of privacy to the bed without blocking too much light. If you live in a place where it is needed, this is also an attractive alternative to mosquito netting.
Is this the Room & Board bed? I can't read quite read the manufacturer....
januarybelle, unfortunately the clipping is from an Australian decor magazine, so they list the resource as Pad Designer Furniture (which we believe is an Australian store). However, we think the one you mentioned from Room & Board could be a good substitute.
This is just gorgeous! Intimate and modern, I love it when a vintage-feel pattern can combine so well with clean lines.
