I have always dreamed of doing a nursery and was so excited to get started once I found out I was pregnant. I am a children's portrait photographer so I have seen a lot of nurseries and been inspired by many of them! We live in a very old house but love modern design elements so I tried my best to find a nice balance between the two. My all time favorite children's book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein and have always wanted to try my hand at a mural. The closet mural is from the cover of the book.
