Q: I recently bought a china cabinet to paint and restore. The only problem is that the glass inserts for the shelves did not come with the cabinet. I don't have any power tools, but I need to come up with something to lay on or in the wood that used to hold the glass. I would prefer something sturdy to hold my china. Any suggestions?

Editor: Hi nrpellerin! My first suggestion would be to have glass cut to the dimensions you need for the shelves. This can be done rather inexpensively at most frame shops. Readers, what other ideas do you have? Leave your suggestions for nrpellerin in the comments - thanks!
