just recently found sunset mag online. what great, doable ideas they have.

I've lived with lots of built-in's in rentals, and I find they are usually really hard to use. I suppose custom built-in's are pretty lux. But overall, I prefer more modular furniture options that can adapt to life's changes.

I really like the open shelving ideas that let light move from room to room.

Sunset decorating books are still around? Hmm. Comforting to know.

What's the consensus on rail & bracket shelving? I'm torn.
