Shhh...Sophie's Library-Themed Nursery

My Room

Name: Sophie (1 month)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Our small guest room became a nursery when our little Sophie was on her way! We had a large card catalog in the room, which we didn't have space for elsewhere in the house. We had to choose whether to say good-bye to the card catalog or incorporate it into the nursery space.

We chose to use it as a dresser, and the drawers are the perfect size for itty-bitty clothing. In keeping with the library theme of the room, our changing table is a book truck, which will be handy for books, toys, art supplies, and lots more in the coming years.

Source List:

  • Vintage card catalog: UW-Madison SWAP (Surplus with a Purpose)
  • Yellow Smith System Book Truck: Demco (available in lots of colors!)
  • Chevron curtains: Pottery Barn Kids
  • Changing pad cover: Land of Nod
  • Bins and baskets: Target and Garnet Hill

Thanks, Amanda! Readers, say hello at Team Struckmeyer.
