Moving is tough, exciting and extremely stressful. There are so many different ways you can pack up your belongings and send them to wherever you'd like. Some people pack up everything the old fashioned way and rent a U-Haul, while others choose the pod route.
Shipping containers may sound like an unlikely choice, even though they've been around for many years. If you don't feel like giving it back, you can always keep it and make it into a house! We're not kidding either &mdash check out the examples below, all featured previously on Apartment Therapy:

My favorite is the Jennifer Siegel-designed one for the owner of the The Brewery art complex - Seatrain: http://www.designmobile.com/seatrain.html
Ha, I live in one! Here in Amsterdam they made 1000 homes for students because there's a big housing defficiency! You have a kitchen, bathroom and shower and two big windows with doors on the ends of the container.

I've always dreamed of living in one of these someday. It just looks so modern and unique.
I lived in one while studying in Holland.
The atmosphere was great, but the living conditions were terrible. Bad isolation (noise, heat) etc ...
I don't know about living in a container, but I do want to know how I would search engine those chairs in the first picture - I'm such a decor novice but I want them!! Help please?!
Vickyb: just google: acapulco chair, you'll find them ;)
I want one for every room of my house!
