Nomade Express Slee...
Groovy and cool! A modern take on this (although it's over 25 years old) is the flying blimp in "Blade Runner" enticing people to live off world in comfort and luxury.
Nice to be reminded that space didn't used to be just Star Trek or Star Wars (blech).
@rmbnn - No, but Star Trek and Star Wars helped many generations expand their mind past reality and into the possible. People got onto the moon, but these movies and shows helped them dream of more than that, culturally and scientifically. The power of Star Trek is so much that NASA named its first space shuttle Enterprise, after the public started a letter writing campaign.
Nothing "blech" about inspiring generations to look at the stars and stimulate their imaginations.
I wouldn't buy the seventh one - "The Moon" on account of the defective spelling of "humanity's". Sheesh.
And I myself left out a dash!
Yes, I would buy the Moon poster today if not for the misspelling.
Looks like the misspelling has been fixed on the Moon poster- totally going to get one of these for my boyfriend!
I'd like to say thank you for featuring my poster "Wonders of the Solar System" on here. I will be releasing a newer version of it in the coming months. I was very happy to see it on here.
The Venus one is amazing!
"I can't see a thing on the surface of Venus!"
"Why not?"
"Because it's covered with a dense layer of clouds."
"Well, what are clouds?"
"Water, of course! Therefore, Venus must have an awful lot of water on it. Therefore, the surface must be wet."
"Well, if the surface is wet, it's probably a swamp."
"If there's a swamp, there's ferns, if there's ferns, maybe there's even dinosaurs!"
"Observation: you couldn't see a thing."
"Conclusion: dinosaurs."
@ryttu3k:
It is possible to start at any given observation and conclude with dinosaurs. True fact.
thank you so much for featuring not one but two of my outer space prints!!!! wow! i am so honored!!!! i can not begin to tell you how much it means to me!
