In today’s modern world, it seems that many of the intrinsic core needs of life have been forgotten. We’ve decided to focus on bringing the den instinct back to the fore of a dog’s everyday existence as it’s in this state that they are truly at peace with their surroundings. Our products are designed and hand-crafted to align organically with the natural world and all it has to offer – an ecological approach. Equally important to making quality products is our desire to help dogs in need. With the purchase of each Growler Goods product, we can all be a part of giving back to the animal community by helping to sponsor a dog. Our promise is to remain as loyal to them as they have been to us.

The founders of Growler Goods, Matt Graber and Heather Roma, want to give dogs a cool, and relaxed California attitude with their accessories. From cute ponchos to clever leashes with poop bag holsters, their handcrafted dog accessories are practical and stylish.

Name/Title: Matt Graber/Owner

Open date: May 2012

Inspiration for opening: We wanted to create a lifestyle brand for dog owners and their pets centered around an eco-friendly product line that has rugged outdoor appeal, yet is classically styled. The other half of the coin is our desire to help dogs in need. It's our long term goal to start our own foundation but currently we give a percentage of proceeds to sponsor dogs through various charities.

Merchandise source: We design and manufacture all of our own products in Los Angeles, California. American Made is essential to our philosophy.

Best selling item: A photo finish between the Saguaro Tipi (first image above) and the Ocotillo Poncho (third image above).

Your favorite item: Ocotillo Poncho.

Favorite store (other than your own): Matt: Mohawk General Store; Heather: Free People
