Helix: Home Photo & Digital Equipment

Store Profile

Pin it button big

Helix (alongside its Chicago competitor, Calumet) is one of those old-school stores where you're likely to find a knowledgeable person behind the counter who'll answer your questions and help you pick out a good digital camera.

They carry a lot of pro equipment and pricey digital SLRs, but they also have helpful supplies for the home photographer and hobbyist — photo printers, mobile hard drives, storage boxes for prints, and paper cutters, for instance.

Helix thrived during the non-digital era and has gradually made the transition into digital cameras and online sales, which means that in addition to all the modern tech, they also have a good inventory of 35 mm cameras and used equipment. Check out their used listings and ebay site for more info.
