Spotlight: Anthony Sisto

Warm Minimal. Anthony Sisto is a find. Literally. Hailing from Brooklyn, he has been quietly designing and making furniture for his own home as well as others, but has not yet gotten around to building a website or any other commercial grade representation.

Anthony's work is woody and minimal, the sort of warm modernism that we like. It almost seems vintage in a Mid-Century sort of way. Our favorite piece is the solid wood shelving. None of these pics do it justice.

We found him because his wife, Meggan, is selling one of his tables in our classifieds and we emailed her about it. She sent us back some pics of his work and the rest is history. You can find Anthony at cole.m@usa.maxmara.com. MGR
