Shopping Bonanza at Bonanzle

Loveseat found using search term "mid-century modern"
Deep in the comments of our post on Doing Without we found mention of a website called Bonanzle, followed by a glowing review from a first-time buyer. A shopping site akin to Etsy, Craigslist and eBay? Our interest was, needless to say, piqued...

Bonanzle is an online marketplace for buying and selling. Unlike eBay, the items are not auctioned, so if you find something you like you can buy it straight away. The layout is sort of like Etsy, but the items for purchase are more along the lines of Craigslist (mostly used items, some new stuff too).

Our first test was a search for our beloved Fire-King, and thus far we can absolutely see the benefits over eBay: no wading through hundreds of pages of items and no losing an item at the last second of auction. The flip side would be that there's less of a selection and that prices are pretty set (though we did see some "OBO" items). But while so far we've been pretty impressed, we've yet to actually buy something from Bonanzle, which of course would be the ultimate test. So do any of you have experiences with the site that you'd like to share? We'd love to hear.
