What I use with my daughter for sending lunch to school every day. Tight, light design with soft edges that is easily washable. Comes in three colors and also a bigger size, called the Box Appetit.

I got my boyfriend the Box Appetit version for Christmas and he loves it. It's perfect for bringing work lunches as it's a good size and is indeed easy to wash. I would recommend taking out the rubber insert and giving that a wash as well as food can sometimes get stuck up in it.You can also pick up a softcover carrying case from Black+Blum for a really sleek look - no one will know you're carrying a lunchbox! It closes up with velcro so you can adjust the shape a bit if you need to slip an extra snack in there.
Although very beautiful I would not recommend this product. On the one I owned the plastic clip that is the closing mechanism broke after only a couple of weeks use. I am a really careful person and it was even hand washed, yes very disappointed.
Ditto on what Pauline H said. Even the replacement lid that I received from the company broke as well. Loved the design at first but I was pretty disappointed in the end.
Another unsatisfied customer here as well. I too was very careful with it. the container warps if you heat in the microwave (following directions not to microwave for more than 2 minutes), and the closure on the lid also broke. A+ for form, F for function.
Hi Pauline, I am very sorry for the extremely later reply to your comment, but only just saw it. I am sorry to hear about the problems you had with your lid. We did have one batch where a small percentage of bento boxes had faulty lids which were too brittle. Since then, we have put in place a quality control check to make sure this does not happen again.
