For quick, affordable summer flooring, I like Bolon, a European product, as a solution. It comes on rolls, is easily shipped and you can roll it out as a rug, runner or full floor covering solution. Though it's vinyl, it's warm to the touch, soft underfoot and carries a rich range of colors. The striped version is shown above, but there are many variations.
