I have a weakness for really nicely designed clocks and functional pieces that are also beautiful. Braun is a master at this. Today I was introduced to their new weather station at the Gift Fair and got a little crush. This busy little thing sits inside and speaks to it's partner outside so that it always gives you an accurate reading on the temperature and humidity inside and out. It's packed with features, including radio controlled time, 12-14 hour weather forecast and the max and min temperatures from the past 24 hours. When the weather keeps bouncing around like it has lately, this is my version of a cheap thrill.

Why get this when for about the same price you can get this for a much broader set of weather and environmental metrics?
