Inspired by this vintage croquet set that I found on Etsy, I dug around for a really high quality new version in the same style. I finally chose this set by North Meadow, which makes a whole range of croquet sets in the USA.

Made in Maine with northern hardwoods this quality set includes:

(6) 3 5/16 inch poly balls
(6) 8 1/2 inch mallet heads with 30 inch handles
(9) powder-coated standard wickets measuring 6" x 10" x 5/32" in dia.
(2) 18 inch goal stakes
(1) English Style wood storage box
(1) instruction/rule book
