It's February, our traffic is surging, and folks are getting busy in their homes. Getting coffee this morning, Laura (one of the baristas) told me that she was inspired by my book to paint her front door. She was so excited and so was I. A little DIY and some color goes a long way at this time of year.
Here's another great easy solution for the winter months to wake up your home: temporary wallpaper from Tempaper. Good for owners and renters, Tempaper is a self-adhesive, repositionable wallpaper created by set designers in 2008 to solve the problem of needing to change wall designs easily. I like the Edie is teal in the pic, but they've got lots of other options and colorways on their site. You can also buy it with free Prime delivery on Amazon here.
Here's more info: "Tempaper is recommended for smooth surfaces that are in good condition. Tempaper may be applied to any primed and painted surface such as walls, doors, interiors, tiles, or wherever your creative mind takes you. It is recommended that you apply Tempaper to surfaces that have been painted with an eggshell or satin finish. You may apply Tempaper in bathroom spaces. Indirect moisture will not affect Tempaper's performance."
