I like to mix old with new, and this reissue of a Verner Panton's classic VP4 Table Lamp from 1968 is both at once. Direct from the Summer of Love, Panton's upper sphere is exactly twice as large as the lower sphere, making it a perfectly balanced form. Unusual and hard to find, I would use this as a desk lamp at home or office, OR as a bedside lamp. It comes in five colors.

This lamp "won the Gute Form Bundespreis in Germany in 1972. The FlowerPot VP4 table lamp is made from steel with a lacquered finish that is available in five vibrant colors, including a black and a chrome version. The cord on the VP4 matches the color of the shade."
