I saw this while visiting Janel's in Chicago last week - a huge old master painting assembled from dozens of cards, pinned together at the corners. Ixxi is a cool Dutch company with a novel art concept whereby you can buy famous paintings (or use your own image) and hang them oversized on your walls with barely a pin to hold them. The image at left is Still Life with Flowers in a Glass Vase by J.Dsz. de Heem (1606 ? 1683/84), and currently hangs in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. You can check out more old masters like this or go for more modern fare. All the cards come in a box, pin together with little X's and can be shipped to the US.
