Hunslet Dinner Plate

Poking around the web, I ran across Ben Pentreath's shop and online store, based in London. While there are many beautiful things for sale here, I got stuck on this dinnerware by Leeds Pottery in Hunslet, England. With a warm color, soft finish and a plain, restaurant service appeal, I purchased two immediately to check them out.
"Leeds pottery was originally founded in Hunslet, a village just outside Leeds in 1770. Hunslet tableware - Inspired by the utilitarian crockery produced in the C18th for below the stairs. Simple, bold shapes, decorated with a single herringbone moulding."
