Jme Coco Tableware by David Queensberry and Martin Hunt
• £22.50 - £45

Yes, you have to order from England, but this tableware set by Queensberry Hunt is so nice, I had to track it down. Winner of a 2010 Homes & Gardens Classic Design Award, this set is made of fine bone porcelain and carries the same clean, modern lines as Kaj Franck's Teema line. It's a really nice new find.

Commercial Flour Sa...
That was my first thought; that it is very similar to Teema.
How does is compare/contrast??
Well, vegans/vegetarians will probably want to avoid this line... huh!
(Considering I have more than a few pieces of Ikea's Skyn collection, it's a good thing I'm neither! I hadn't read up on bone china before today....)
Otherwise, it seems Teema comes in more colors and shapes, probably isn't as translucent, and is more expensive (jme coco is 45gbp for a set of 4 dinner plates, whereas teema is $24 for a dinner plate; trend seems to hold).
I was wondering about hand-feel, how they look on the table in comparison, etc.
The Teema is a little grayish to begin with, so would be quite grayish in comparison. On the other hand, Teema is a classic -- it's been around for a long time, and will continue to be around for decades to come. So, if you want to buy some replacement plates of Teema in a decade, you'll be able to do so; wit the Jme Coco... well, not so sure.
I love my white Corning set from walmart.
