Provendi Rotating Soap Fixture

I love these so much we used to sell them through our little online Apartment Therapy store years ago. They were hard to find, but leave it to Anthro to solve that problem. Designed for public schools in France, the "sweetly scented, softly foaming vegetable-based soap" rotates and slowly wears down. New soap replacements just get screwed onto the "spike." It's a great solution for kitchen sinks, bathrooms without a lot of counter space OR beside bathtubs or outdoor showers. Oh, and it's a conversation starter as well.

Nomade Express Slee...
Wow. We used to have these in the bathrooms of my school, in Ecuador. They were MUCH less cute, of course. What a flashback!
We have one, but ours is la maison du savon marseille. We love it because it isn't messy, our guests enjoy it, and the soap lasts forever. Our first "bar" is over three years old.
Love this product - so unique!
Fabulous.... and how great not to have to resort to plastic bottles with liquid soap! I know there are people who swear by liquid soap because they are afraid of other peoples germs but ehm, well, how far do you want to go with that? We all touch money, and that is loaded with them!
I'll stick with my refillable soap on a rope. Just add a new bar, no screws.
these look great in catalogs, but seeing them in france they do tend to get a bit dirty, and there is a "goop puddle" that tends to develop below them. i'd take care where they are placed, above a sink or tub makes sense so the goop can be washed away easily. don't put them above a counter or floor.
When I was growing up in Belgium these always disgusted me at the train station or at school.
Quite frankly, I don't like their look. I will keep my pump bottle with liquid soap.
I fell in love with a wall mount soap dispenser from Napa Style. Sadly it's no longer offered and I've never seen anything similar elsewhere. I've only seen it in one home here on AT.

Totally skeevy. This is the first product I've seen that actually makes you feel filthy using soap. Maybe they stay clean in private homes, but in public places they make you feel like you need to use sanitizer after washing. Ewwwww.
Hey Ms. Vickie, look what I found:

It's the prettiest soap dispenser I've ever seen, but it's pricey!
oops, sorry to burst your bubble (ha, ha), but I just clicked on the link and it's not available.
Thanks for trying cobalt!
I never thought I'd be willing to pay $80 for a soap dispenser. But I do agree it's the prettiest one I've ever seen and would pay that price if I could ever find it again.
Me too Ms. Vickie and cobalt blue! Why oh why did they stop selling these...
They remind me of the bathrooms during elementary school in Paris, I barely wanted to touch them, no thank you.
