This rug has officially become one of THE trendiest but also great rugs of 2013.
Stuff I find, like for myself and would recommend to a client.
I agree, this rug appears in soooo many homes. I usually never like black-white furniture because it's very harsh and cold. However, this rug doens't give me that feeling at all!
It's a nice look, but it's already curling up at the edge in the photo. Is anyone else bothered by this? I see my self tripping on this constantly if it were in my home.
Does anyone know what sofa this is? I am instantly enamored, and I have seen it elsewhere before too, but I cannot seem to get a name.
I agree - that is a great sofa! The photo is not credited, but this is the previous house of FromtheRightBank.com blogger, Ally. You can see it here and contact her via her website.http://www.designsponge.com/2009/11/sneak-peek-alek-from-right-bank-design.html
@tome I bought this rug and ended up trashing it after a year (it wasn't even worth consigning or reselling) because the edges started tearing. the rug was in a high traffic room in my 1br apartment. i also have a cat. maintaining it daily didn't do anything. the rug just wore down really quickly.
I suppose one can always duct tape it down....
I have this rug in my living room that gets tons of foot traffic and after about a year it's holding up fine, also my edges don't curl up at all. I do tend to go barefoot in the home and I don't have pets so this helps the ware. I will say that because this rug is black and white it gets dirty ridiculously fast, I vacuum it constantly!
