Feeling a bit guilty about posting such expensive Daily Finds lately, here is a great looking, super affordable desk that I saw at my friend's house in Chicago last month. High gloss and red on red, it is a generous size and adds a nice large dollop of color to any room. When my daughter and their daughter were drawing at it, they couldn't have been happier.

Actually I was just thinking that I am liable to need a desk for my new home office...and that one makes ME happy, too. :)
Sadly, Ikea is discontinuing the Vika Amon. I was just at one last month looking for a white Vika Amon top and had to settle for a green one as it was all they had left. They'll probably start showing up in the as is section from their store displays though.....
