Local Harvest

2004_11_29_usa.pngBuy Local. Sara A. tipped us off to Local Harvest, telling us that she found organic wreaths for sale through them. We checked them out and found that and more...

Local Harvest is an online directory started in 1998 that links together small farms, farmers markets, and other local food sources across the country. It serves as both a map and a marketplace, so that if you want to find a local farmer's market, you can, and if you want to order something through their members - anywhere in the country - you can do that too.

2004_11_29_wreath.jpgWhile Buy Local is the motto, you may be tempted by a honeycomb in a frame ($50) from Marshall's Farm, 25 lbs. of organic lamb ($230) from Fat Rooster Farm, or Chocolate Covered Butter Almond Toffee Candy ($8.50) from Black Mesa Ranch.
