360SEE Gallery

After you've browsed the green gifts at Grasshopper510, walk down the block to the new art gallery, 360SEE. If you're looking for a different gallery experience, 360SEE is filling the sustainable art niche. The gallery offers fine art, furniture, and design objects that place emphasis on sustainability through concept and material construction. According to the website, 360SEE, a name born from the never-ending lifecycle of the gallery's artwork and media, is the first gallery of its kind.

The current featured pieces at 360SEE include reclaimed wood tables and benches, chairs made of recycled HDPE, paintings using recycled milk bottles as the canvas, artwork made of dried grasses, reclaimed metal sculptures, and limited edited etched skate boards. Art media includes organic matter, FSC certified wood, bamboo, steel, post consumer plastic, and reclaimed materials.

Jordan Witkov, 360SEE's owner, says of his gallery, "360SEE offers fine art and design pieces that have equal emphasis on environmentally sustainable practices. I know I am getting it right when people come in and enjoy the art on its own merit and pick up on the sustainable undertones as they work their way through the gallery."

Not only does 360SEE showcase sustainable pieces but they also walk the walk with the way they manage their business. They are a member of the Sustainable Furniture Council; they reduce the amount of raw resources in all phases of business and purchase recycled content and recyclable products; reduce and reuse packaging and transportation; and educate their employees and customers about the life cycle analysis of their products.

360SEE is open Monday-Saturday 10-7, Sunday 10-6, or by appointment.
