If people who do only one thing are generally better at it than others, and if Italians are tops in glass design and style, then Bisazza Mosaico hits the mark...
Founded in 1958 as a small local business, Bisazza has pioneered the art of the glass mosaic tile. Combining age old techniques of Venetian glass design and leading edge technology, they are now high-end players with tile in the Rose Center at the American Museum of Natural History and in their own Soho showroom designed by Fabio Novembre.
Prices run from around $8.70 per sq/ft for solid colored glass to $647 per sq/ft for glass with hand-applied white goldleaf. It can be purchased from the Bisazza showroom or through other retailers such as Quarry Tile and Knoxtile.com.
