When asked which specific product in their showroom they felt most strongly proud of offering, Loliya offered the Red Dot award winning "One Chair", a lightweight stacking chair that was surprisingly comfortable and supportive despite its starched white sheet delicate appearance. The lumbar support and the bottom hugging seat of this chair impressed us as a fine choice for a dining room seat or occasional office task chair, with a minimal aesthetic with attention to detail and fit not always found in dining room seating. Definitely one of the more comfortable seating we've tried out in recent memory.
Another notable detail we were informed about was in regards to their wide line of flooring options. All their rugs are made to order from India, and come with a verification they were manufactured under fair labor requirements, specifically from manufacturers who don't use child labor in their production. Next time you drop by, flip over their rugs and look for the Care & Fair Member label. We're happy to see their effort to meet ethical manufacturing standards that benefit both customer and workers alike.
A large selection of upholstery fabrics, hardware and accessories compliment the showroom's staged living spaces, primarily in neutral or monochromatic palettes, sitting somewhere inbetween the European high end of the spectrum and the medium end of a Crate and Barrel priced retailer. We're personally big fans of their memory foam mattresses, a firmer option to the typical cushy-warm Tempur-pedic style mattresses, but also spied a bedside lamp shaped to have one side stand flat against the wall (think of a lamp cut in half) that we wouldn't mind adding to our home...well, if we had room. If anything, the helpful staff at the showroom makes it a nice spot to drop in, receive a complimentary bottle their own labeled water, lay on some comfortable beds or sit on some award winning chairs, and pretend you're living it up. Just be sure to step outside afterward and enjoy that sunset right outside the showroom...something even us east-of-the-101 folks can appreciate.
