Every single Thursday we buy fresh flowers for our apartment and almost every single Thursday we buy them at Cable Car Flowers. The location can't be beat, and the prices are fantastic. Plenty of photos after the jump!

Cable Car Flowers was opened in 1944. In 1962 it was bought by the Murdoch family and has been family owned and operated ever since.

The quality of the flowers rivals most other stands in the area. We're always pleased with the longevity of our bouquets.

From daisies to King Protea, Cable Car Flowers always has a flower for every mood or occasion.

Along with plenty of cut flowers to choose from to create your own bouquet, Cable Car Flowers always has a fantastic assortment of pre-made bouquets for you to choose from.

We recently picked up these lovely Ping Cushion Protea for $6 a stem.
