Here's a new-to-us source to add to the ever-growing list of cool clocks. As iPhones and other mobile digital devices replace the need for extra timepieces, it seems like tabletop and wall clocks are becoming more about style and design and less about functional necessity.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I see designer clocks everywhere, and they seem like beautiful fetish objects to me, like watches in a men's style magazine — not exactly essential but still sought after for other aspirational reasons.

Anyway, these clocks from Dzynwrld seem cool, affordable, and a little bit different from other styles on the market. The angled design of their Mini Clocks would be a nice addition to a modern desktop — they describe this piece as "sweet mid-century modern design updated & refreshed for today. Think "Mad Men"!"

Likewise, their wall clocks are inspired by the classic George Nelson Ball Clock, but the reference is subtle and they've developed a unique spin on mid-century mod style.

In addition to clocks, Dzynwrld carries tote bags and wall art. For more info, check them out online.
