Ecojot isn't your average stationery company. Although they make everything from cards to journals and sketchbooks to calenders, they are doing more than their part to offset their product's eco-footprint. In addition to that they're also committed to sending journals to developing countries for every one purchased. Based out of Canada, Ecojot provides a vast array of 100% post-consumer recycled paper products. They use acid-free, processed chlorine free paper & board as well as vegetable based inks and glues. No new trees are used to make their paper and their paper mill is powered by bio-gas harnessed from a nearby landfill. In addition to all that, their packaging is corn-based and they strive to use as much locally made, raw product as possible.
Their products range from solid bold colors to more natural hues, in addition to crazy prints that are bound to make you smile. There is literally something for everyone, no matter what age. For any notebook, journal, jumbo journal or sketchbook purchased, Ecojot will donate a notebook to children in a struggling community. They're also sending along other supplies, but are heavy into supporting the arts in places where there isn't much of anything.

In 2007, Mark Gavin, head of marketing and sales for Ecojot, saw a GREEN trend happening in the marketplace. At the time, our company called Mirage Paper Co. was producing stationery and had been for almost 10 years. Together Mark and Carolyn (brother and sister) worked on developing a range of stationery that was fresh, new and green. Green meaning, made entirely from waste material.
