The BADA Table: it's a dining table, a desk, and a sofa!

Brooklyn-based design firm EcoSystems creates some seriously cool furniture pieces, any one of which we'd be more than thrilled to have in our home. The whole manufacturing process is streamlined to produce a minimal amount of waste: their designs (which are all tool-free and can be assembled by snapping together) are made only with organic, non-toxic, certified sustainable materials, and they'll pick up the furniture when its first life is over to recycle it or reclaim the materials...

Shelf, $850 - $2750

The wood pieces offer the following choices:

Appleply = FSC Certified and NAF
Bamboo = FSC Certified
Douglas Fir = Reclaimed from bleachers
World Mix = Reclaimed from shipping pallets
Teak = Post-consumer reclaimed

Each piece also gives its LEED specifications.

EcoSystems products are made to order. Contact them directly if you're interested in purchasing. All products are all open for customization, and can be completed and ready for shipment in 4-6 weeks depending on the finish options and quantity.
