With fall on its way, no doubt deeper, rich colors will start making their way into some folks' homes, but we're still in the mood for cheerful, bright color palettes that instantly lift our mood and our interiors. We found just that in the colorful and cute modern accessories of the Houston-based designers behind Edie's Lab.
If the aesthetic seems slightly familiar, it's because the husband and wife (Josh and Audrey) team behind Edie's Lab are also behind Harbenger Duo, which we've posted about before on Apartment Therapy. Like their furniture designs, their accessories have clean lines and fun details. Curves give objects a softness to them, and fun designs show that modern home design doesn't always have to be so serious. They've got plenty of fun letters if you, like us, still love a letter or a few on a wall, but they've also got great mirrors, some fun picture frames and one of our favorite accessories we've spotted in awhile: their Minimal Pecker modern bird sculpture, where they've taken the most recognizable features of a bird and distilled it to its modern essence. Even better than all of their great aesthetics are the green aspects to their products, like using zero VOC paints, non-toxic wax finishes and American made raw materials. Good-looking and eco-friendly!
