There's certainly no shortage of Home Decor shops in Philadelphia — but there's only one that truly stands out from the rest. Embodying a unique mix of modern furniture with everything a serious (or novice!) home cook could need; you'll find yourself feeling right at home when you walk through the door into the warmly lit shop.
Foster's Homeware recently moved from their larger location on 2nd and Market Streets to the much cozier location at 33 N. 3rd Street. We couldn't have been more excited to see their new location because it feels how Foster's was always meant to feel — it's the kind of shop that makes you want to stay there for hours looking at each and every thing they have on display.
The lower level of Foster's Homeware is the furniture and demo-kitchen. The furniture is a modernists dream — items ranging from the Buttercup Rocker
to the Series 11 Console
. Foster's also offers up free cooking demonstrations
as well as cooking classes
Upstairs you will find just about everything you could imagine wanting in your home kitchen. Bakeware, Cookware, Cutlery, and Electronics to Specialty Foods and everything in between. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful — some of them also work as interior designers outside of the shop. Always a helpful tidbit when shopping for furniture for your home!
Foster's carries products from Blu Dot, Gus Modern, Mio, Offi, iittala, Bodum, black + blum and many more.
The prices at Foster's Homeware are what you would expect of a small shop in Philadelphia.
