Fred Flare Holiday 2010 Pop Up

Store Profile

We are no stranger to the cute, funny, and nifty items that can be found at Fred Flare. Previously all of our purchases from this merchant were done online and either delivered or picked up in their Brooklyn warehouse. Now, for the first time ever, Fred Flare has a storefront and a pop up location. We recently visited the holiday pop up and were delighted to see many of our favorites available to buy and take home right here in Manhattan.

When we first entered the Holiday Market space at Chelsea Market, Fred Flare was the first shop we spotted. How could anyone miss the Port-a-Pug? Fred Flare, as we mentioned in the intro, is a great source for fun items and is the shop in the market most likely to make you crack a smile.

Like its online shop, Fred Flare brick and mortar edition has a variety of items to meet all of your gift and geek tech needs. From books to headphones to video game controller shaped candy, Fred Flare has it all. We particularly love the great selection of lomo cameras like the Diana and Fisheye 2. Fred Flare is a great place to pick up stocking stuffers and small items that are under $20 that make great gifts.

We hope that Fred Flare will open up a permanent location in Manhattan soon, but for now we at least have the pop up shop. If you happen to be in Manhattan before December 23, stop by the pop up shop in Chelsea Market. In Brooklyn? Check out the new storefront in Greenpoint.
