Located across from famed bakery EuroPane in Pasadena is an (at first glance) unassuming mid century storefront. Once inside, it is so much more. From Don Draper's sofa to art coveted by Kelly Wearstler to consoles that look straight out of Elle Decor, this shop is full of gems.
Funnel Furniture moved to its new space on Colorado two months ago, though they've been in business for years offering vintage mid century furniture and custom reproductions (like the Boxy sofa that sits in Don Draper's office on Mad Men and the Pasadena Chair). While the showroom isn't bursting with items, each piece of furniture, each painting hung on the wall, each objet is hand selected, and in impeccable condition. And as a testament to their taste, items move quickly and the showroom turns over often.
The pricing reflects how well curated the pieces are, so it isn't a place to go bargain shopping necessarily (though for how special their selection is, we argue that the prices are reasonable and worth it, running at about the same cost as Crate and Barrel). And with clients like Kelly Wearstler and Amy Wells, you're in good company.
