Goodnight Green's online bedding store launched back in August with a full selection of organic mattresses and organic, eco-friendly bedding for both adults and children. Goodnight Green is part of kids' design store Fawn & Forest, so we knew right away it'd be a go-to place for beautiful, healthy, and stylish bedding.
Goodnight Green sells two types of mattresses, from crib through king size.
- Organic Innerspring: "Innerspring mattresses have long been the standard in the mattress industry and still represent over 80% of the mattress market. While natural latex mattress have been gaining huge amounts of popularity, many people still simply prefer to sleep on a traditional innerspring mattress. The unique experience that latex offers can take some adjustment, and may not be for everyone."
- Latex: "Natural Latex or Natural Rubber comes from the Rubber Tree (Hevea Brasiliensis) and it’s acquired by collecting a latex serum from the latex ducts of the Rubber Tree and then used to make Natural Latex. Unlike synthetic latex, natural latex is naturally hypo-allergenic, dust mite resistant and anti-microbial. It's breathable qualities allow it to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter and it is the most naturally durable and cushioning material available in nature in addition to being biodegradable."
They feature bedding from designers like Pure Fiber, Ferm Living, Dwell Studio, and Plover Organic. All prices include sales tax and the ship free with orders over $50.

I hate to say something negative about an independent company, but I ran into some of the customer service problems with Goodnight Green as described here (http://www.ohdeedoh.com/ohdeedoh/at-marketplace/fawn-and-forest-106431) about their other company Fawn and Forest. I had problems reaching anyone via phone (no one answers) or chat (none of the chat sessions could answer my question regarding product that never shipped) and e-mails took 2-3 days to receive a response. The problem was I wasn't informed of shipping status and the fact that one product was back ordered. It just sort of disappeared though my credit card was billed. In the end I was able to cancel my order, but I just wasn't thrilled with the customer service experience. They rely on manufacturer schedules but it should be their job to openly and proactively communicate with their customers in a timely manner. I found it frustrating. I had better luck ordering directly from the manufacturer.
I'm having the same problem as chococat. One of my items hasn't arrived and it's been a while. I've left two messages via phone (they never pick up) and one email. I may be forced to cancel my order.
I am having an issue with goodnight green as well. Funny they claim to have excellent customer service but I can't get them to return a phone call or e-mail for the life of me. I guess I wasted $56 on a crib skirt that I'll never see. I've also tried the chat sessions and none of them are ever responded to. I have been trying to contact them for weeks now and have not gotten a response, I wish like Chococat I could say that I have gotten a response and was able to get credit for the crib skirt I paid for and never received but so far this is not the case. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
I had a great customer service experience with this company and the mattress I purchased is AMAZING. I was in need of a customized natural latex mattress as my wife and I have different firmness needs. They actually worked with the manufacturer to construct a mattress with customized latex on each side of the mattress. It's been Ideal for both of us. I shop a lot online and had a seamless experience with this company.
I decided to splurge and spend a big chunk of $$ (for me anyways) on a Royal Pedic organic mattress and ordered via goodnight green. I couldn't wait to get it so they worked with the makers of the mattress and had it shipped out within a week (I think it was supposed to ship in 2 weeks). Absolutely love this mattress! I've never spent that much money on a mattress but I'm glad I did - I wake up without any of the aches and pains that I felt with the 20 year old spring mattress that I had before. I'll be sticking with latex from here on out, no more innerspring for me. They also had a really great free gift card promo and I got $450 in credit to spend on my next purchase which I used to get some really nice bedding.
