Hollywood at Home is textile heaven! The owner of Hollywood at Home, Peter Dunham, has his own line of textiles and is an interior designer as well. He opened the store as a resource for vintage and custom furniture and textiles inspired from his travels around the world. As you can see from the selection of furniture and textiles featured, Peter is not afraid of color and patterns, which is why I love Hollywood at Home!
Peter's line of textiles are hand printed and are a modern take on traditional prints from India, Africa, and Central Asia. I love how the line transitions from a Kashmir Paisley neutral fabric to a vibrant Indian Pink Paisley Janpath pattern. Hollywood at Home also carries textile lines by designers Carolina Irving, John Robshaw, Lisa Fine, and Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.
The showroom features the best vintage finds from around the globe and coordinating textiles, but don't expect a snooty staff. Peter Dunham is very welcoming (and charming) and provides a relaxed environment to shop.
As a side note, Peter was seen shopping with his client at Nathan Turner's store in the premiere episode of "Million Dollar Decorators."
