There's been a lot of talk about moving around the AT offices recently, as many of us have or are planning to move in the coming future. I'm not one of those people, but if and when I do move apartments, I think I'll be calling iMoveGREEN, the nation's only moving company partnered with the EPA. What's green about them? For starters, they use biodegradable packing materials and reusable plastic boxes for transport; their business facility is completely powered by wind energy; the company vehicles are washed with recycled water and green cleaners, and all the surveyors drive a hybrid Toyota Prius.
Another green endeavor is their partnership with the Nature Conservancy, in which a percentage of the proceeds from each move go to planting trees in the Brazilian rainforest. The company also wants to inform their customers about green living, so they offer each customer a Green Starter Kit, which includes a reusable tote, coffee mug, green-living brochure and housewarming plant.
